  1. raquel!!! i just flew through all of your posts. i didn’t know you were a vegan! this summer, the vet whose office i worked at was trying to convert everyone to his new “religion”-being a vegan! so he gave me the china study book (which i must admit fell to the wayside once school started) but he also had me go watch forks over knives in theaters and then bought me the movie as a going away present! i can totally lend it to you if you want!!! (trade for the sourdough starter?) and i tried to make vegan baked goods for the office. for his birthday i made carrot cake with “cream cheese” frosting. it was amazing! super moist! no eggs necessary…it used flax seed as the binder…no egg substitute too! i will try to find the recipe (if you are a carrot cake fan). also! have you ever been to 180 degrees? it is a restaurant in garden grove. all vegan all raw…i really liked it. super strong flavors and interesting textures. anyways, i will now be a follower of your blog : )

    • Hi EB! Yes, I am a vegan 🙂 And I am definitely a carrot cake fan! I’ve been wanting to try a recipe from Kathy over at Happy.Healthy.Life blog, but I just haven’t gotten around to it. I’d love to have yours tho!
I went to 180 degrees last winter and ohhh my gosh I have never had flavors like that. I don’t know how they do it but the flavors just POP. Even on the simple things like the kale salad. I’m definitely a fan. We should go there next time we’re back home!
And I will also trade starter for movie-borrow. I’ve wanted to see that movie. It’s good, I’m guessing?
Thanks for reading 🙂 And let me know if you try a recipe or need help with bread. It’s my favorite thing!
